Gateway to Health Informatics (G2HI)

INFORMATION FOR FOREIGN PARTICIPANTS

• This on-line AMIA certified course is available to anyone, anywhere (conditions apply - see below) so long as there is Internet connectivity;
  

• It is not available to residents of countries in North, Central or South America;
  

• The course is identical to the AMIA 10x10 course in the USA that is offered by Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU);
  

• Two (2) face-to-face, class-room based tutorials will be held in Singapore:
  

  • while foreign participants are  encouraged to attend Tutorial 1 (please refer to Timetable for date), participation is not compulsory;
    

  • all foreign participants should attend Tutorial 2 (please refer to Timetable for date) which will be conducted by Professor Bill Hersh and Professor KC Lun;
    

• For the convenience of foreign participants who will be travelling to Singapore for Tutorial 2, the final examination, which is a 3-hour, open-book, invigilated examination, will be held the day after Tutorial 2.
